Japanese Prints & Paintings
3 jigsaw puzzles
Ukiyo-e woodblock prints and Japanese paintings from the Edo period. Many are built from bold outlines and flat areas of color, like Hokusai's Under the Wave off Kanagawa, so the pieces have clearer edges than oil paintings and sorting by color works well. The broad stretches of a single color in the sky and sea, on the other hand, are best left for last.
