Buddhist paintings, literati paintings and portraits from the Goryeo and Joseon dynasties. The biggest difference from Western painting is that form and texture come almost entirely from shades of ink, with very little color. So when you sort the pieces, look at the direction of the brushstrokes and how dark or light the ink is rather than at color. Once you get the feel for it, you end up looking at the painting far more closely.
