Drawings and prints that artists left on paper. Preparatory drawings made on the way to a finished work, like Toulouse-Lautrec's poster designs, a series of bullfighting scenes, and even record drawings of the interior of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in the 19th century are mixed together. Unlike finished oil paintings, every line is laid bare, so you can see how the artist moved their hand. With almost no color, only line and shading, they are trickier as puzzles than paintings.
